St. Patrick’s Day Simplicity Card

st-patricks-day-simplicity

Here’s an easy St. Patrick’s Day card that is fast to make! It uses heart shapes with a hand cut stem. These would be so cute to hand to your hostess or guests, or simply made a tiny bit smaller and used for place cards at your table!

My mother was from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and even though she’s no longer here on earth, the cut out shape of the shamrock in the background reminds me of a pin she made me when I was very young. We were supposed to wear something green to school for St. Patrick’s Day, and I didn’t have anything green to wear. So she took a white pipe cleaner, and fashioned a shamrock for me, mixed food coloring to dye it green, and placed a small safety pin in the back so I would have my “something green” to wear to school :). Happy memories…

St. Patrick’s Day Luck Card

Make this humorous St. Patrick’s Day card along with me! I used the Spellbinder’s Labels #1 Die (biggest size), Lime Green Stickles, Silver Medium Brads, a border punch and corner rounder punch, and pearl adhesive jewel strips.
