Grunge Circle Card

Here’s another card that you can make with no special supplies. You don’t even need a circle punch if you have the patience to trace around a nickel or a quarter 18 times and cut them out 🙂

Otherwise, what I used for this card was Ranger Distress Ink and flowers with a brad. That’s it!

Easy Card That Uses One Shape!

If you’re in a hurry, this is the card for you (and don’t try to make it sideways if you want the squares straight lol!) :).  Grab your favorite shape punch and a sticker and you’ll be all set! I used squares for this one, but try triangles, circles, hearts, leaves or whatever you happen to have on your craft shelf.

The white card is 5″ x 5″, so I punched 8 squares from pink cardstock and grabbed a square sticker. The sticker was very thin so I put it on a piece of cardstock and cut it out. I also used zots to pop up every other square, a teensy flower that I put a jewel in the center, and some Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue to embellish the sticker a little bit. That’s about it!

And the winner is….

Hi everyone! Thanks so much to everyone who joined in on the National Scrapbook Day Contest! It was fun to see all the creativity out there, but hard to choose a winner. Here are the three videos that I picked as my favorites (the first two were sent to me because they had trouble uploading videos to YouTube, but we got them on there eventually!) :

Beci’s Video – this card is so imaginative and beautiful!

Hannah’s Video- She’s my youngest entrant and did a fabulous job!

YouTube User: MrZiko12345. I loved all the mixed media used in this video, unusual things like pastels and superglue 🙂

So, these are my finalists….and the winner is………………..

Beci (the first video) — Please send me your address so I can get the Ranger Ink Pads sent to you.

Oh, but I’m not done…I decided that Hannah and MrZiko12345 will get an honorable mention prize each, a $20 gift certificate to Dinglefoot’s Scrapbooking! I will email your prize to you 🙂

Thanks again everybody! It was fun and we’ll have to do this again soon!

Check out yard sales, Goodwills and other second-hand shops, also flea markets and antique stores. They usually cost next to nothing! Even if you wouldn’t always wear them in today’s fashions, they make the most lovely accents for cards!

For this card, all you need is your card, Graphic 45 scrapbooking paper for the background on your card, some satin ribbon, zots and a vintage pin, and you’re all set!
