Stitched Burlap Accent Handmade Card

Sometimes just one little extra accent can add a distinctive touch to a project. On this card, I added 3 burlap stitches to the tag. The eye of the needle wasn’t quite large enough to easily fit the burlap twine through, so I separated the strands into two pieces before starting.

The neat postage stamp tag is one that I cut at 3″ from the Cricut Accent Essentials cartridge. I inked both the postage stamp and the white cardstock with a magenta ink, using the Ranger Ink Blending Tool.

I hope you enjoy this project! Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Ribbon Handmade Card

This is a fun card to make just for a greeting, or it would be neat for an invitation to a Harvest Party! I used a cream card, orange-red cardstock for the front, a piece of patterned paper (3.5″ long and 4″ wide), a border punch, sheer ribbon, metallic maple leaf brad, die-cut letters (Cricut Ornamental Iron 2, font, 1″). For adhesives, I used a permanent glue stick, 1/8″ Scor-Tape, and a Tombow Glue Pen for the skinny die-cut letters. Thanks for stopping by!
