I have a wedding to attend this weekend, so I wanted a card with the wedding colors. When you have glitter paper or any paper with a shiny surface, you never have to add much to make it look stunning. This is glitter paper that I got at Hobby Lobby, made by Paper Studio. I’m so glad to come across it. Normally glitter papers are made with some sort of clear coat on top that cracks too easily when it’s bent. I was able to fold the cardstock to make my card, as well as emboss the silver paper with absolutely no cracking at all!
The hearts are cut at 2″ from Cricut’s Accent Essentials cartridge, and you can learn to tie the double bow with my video: Simple Double Bow Tutorial

If you need an easy, sparkly card for a special occasion, this card might be just the ticket. I scored the lines on my Scor-Pal, and used Stickles Glitter Glue to make the dots. Of course you could easily use adhesive gems or pearls in their place as well. Stickles do tend to flatten as they dry, so they look more like a glitter cardstock design when the project is done. You can see the complete instructions in the video below.
I had a bridal shower to attend this weekend, and had been thinking for a while of making it with an old fashioned Cameo design. The cameo I used is from Cricut’s Heritage cartridge. This cartridge has been getting difficult to find for a decent price, but I recently came across an affordable one on eBay and snatched it up as fast as I could :). I cut it at 4″ on paper from DCWV Luxury Stack. The other papers on the card are also from the same stack.
It’s a bit difficult to see it in the picture, but the card is a light blue design, then a dark blue mat, then another piece of the light blue paper, which I ran through my roller embosser with a Cuttlebug handwriting folder.
On the inside of the card, I used the dark blue paper again, and then a silver piece. The writing was just done in Microsoft Word and then printed onto a thinner paper with a light blue design. You can follow along with all the details in the video below. Thanks for stopping by!
I made this multi-layered card for a wedding. It was brown, beige, then 2 layers of pearl paper. I printed the verse for the inside of the card right onto my cardstock with my inkjet printer.
The butterfly was from the Cricut Picturesque cartridge, and I cut both the brown & cream layer at 1.5″. The cream top layer of the butterfly was sprayed with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist, and I put ribbon corners on the front top layer and the inside verse layer and then added white adhesive pearls on each corner & the center of the butterfly. You can follow along in the video below for all the details :).
This is the verse inside the card:
The blessings of the Lord
We pray will not depart
But remain forever more
In both your tender hearts
The Lord will bless you
And He will keep you safe
He will watch over you
And guard you in your ways
His face will shine upon you
And His blessings will increase
His love will see you through
And give you perfect peace
