One In A Million Card

This card is so easy, but fun! I used the smallest butterfly stamp from Inkadinkado’s Gemstone Insects stamps,

some Red Dragon Embossing Powder, a black Sakura pen and some ribbon.

I used the Sakura pen because I didn’t have a stamp with the  “You’re one in a million” saying.  You could easily write it in Word, print, cut and glue to your card. This is a fun card to cheer someone up or as a thank you. Enjoy!

Book Paper & Dragonfly Card

Phew, even though we moved this week, and things are still in disarray and we are tired-er than tired, I grabbed this project out for this week.

This fun card was made of paper from an old book, some twine, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, a dragonfly stamp from Inkadinkado’s Gemstone Insects, some Glimmer Mist and gold embossing powder. It would be fun for an everyday card or a birthday.

Birthday Numbers Card

This cute birthday card is fun because it works great for anyone, guy or gal :). I used up some of my scraps to make the numbers. If you have a Cricut, you can make the exact ones I have using the Storybook Cartridge, but of course any numbers will do.

These were cut in different sizes, ranging from 1″ – 2.5″. The Happy Birthday was stamped and then embossed with Red Dragon Embossing Powder. All the details are below.

Mother’s Day Flower Card

Even though my mom has been gone for 4  1/2 years, I still think of her when I make Mother’s Day cards. Her favorite color was pink, so that’s the color I almost always choose as I gear up for this time of year.

This simple card is made from a pink cardstock, pearl paper, flower ribbon, paper flowers and silver stickles.  I also embossed the greeting with silver embossing powder. Follow along below for all the details.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you hard-working moms out there 🙂
