Beachy Summer Handmade Card

I thought perhaps if I made a bright & cheery card this week, maybe it would usher in some warmer weather :). We’ve been covering our plants this week because it has been in the 20’s at night. That’s pretty late for frost, even in South Dakota. But anyway, here goes, a fast & fun bright cheery card this week…

I first chose a bright patterned cardstock, in this case it was paper from DCWV Nana’s Kids. Then I searched through my ribbon to find 3 colors from the design, and added to that a 5″ lace doily, a flower, and some twine. That’s it, so easy, but warm and cheery for all the sad & freezing South Dakotans :).
