Tim Holtz Alterations Easter Card

It’s already Easter time, so I made a card using the Tim Holtz’ Woodgrain Alterations Embossing Folder.  The wood pattern is especially perfect to me as a reminder of Christ’s cross that He died on for you and me. The empty cross at the top of the card reminds me that He is risen just as He promised.

I love the depth of the Alterations Embossing Folders! I have never seen such nice deep patterns and Tim Holtz claims that they will also emboss thin metals and fabric. Sounds like it would be fun to try 🙂

For this card, I also used Old Paper, Peeled Paint and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink Pads and also Gold Cross Dazzles Peel-Off Stickers. If you would like step-by-step instructions, feel free to watch the video below. Happy Easter!

  1. Beautiful! Where did you get the cross? Can you also tell me in email or on FB because I don’t know how to get back to this section from your website. Thanks! : )
