Are you sick of the bland colors of winter? I know I sure am. I’m ready for flowers, wildlife, rain, sun, all of it. Colors are back in style, and pastels are just the ticket for spring layouts! Don’t automatically think “baby” when you see pastels, they’re great for any spring project! Here’s one layout idea:
How about using light blue cardstock for the background, then a strip of green at the bottom for grass? That will easily give you the background you need for any spring pictures you have, whether it be picnics, pictures of your flowers, or even for Easter. Then take a flower stamp (like the Flower Stems stamp from Autumn Leaves) and add a few for interest. You can also enhance the “sky” by dabbing some ink using Tim Holz Distress Ink Pads in different hues of blues :). Add some extras to your scene with bird brads or stamps! So grab your pastels and get “Springy” with them!
