Embossing a stamped image

Embossing a stamped image is an easy way to add a beautiful touch to a card or scrapbook page. It gives a polished look. On this card, I stamped a bird image, and then while the ink was still wet, I poured red embossing powder over the top. The next step is to shake off the excess powder and then heat up the image with an embossing heat tool. A regular hair dryer will not work because it produces too much air and will just blow the powder right off without melting it. You want to slowly hold the heat tool over the image until the powder melts. Then you are finished. Just let it sit for a minute to cool down and you’re ready to go! Easy and beautiful.
